Match surveyed five thousand single men and asked what theyre looking for in a mate. Contrary to popular belief, looks did not top the list. In fact, when asked what they “must have” in a relationship, 98 percent of men said someone who treats them with respect, 97 percent said someone they can trust and confide in, 95 percent said someone comfortable communicating their wants and needs, and 91 percent said someone with a sense of humor who can make them laugh.
