Mater Most Urgent actions req 1. Execution: All convicted terrorists in custody should be executed within 24 hours. 2. Ban and Freeze: Immediately ban and freeze the assets of all bodies affiliated with extremists and militant organisations. 3. Choke Funding: Immediately choke all funding channels of extremists and militant organisations. 4. Speedy Disposal: Shift all pending cases of terrorism from ordinary criminal courts to Anti-Terrorist Courts. 5. Quarantine: Law Enforcement Agencies should quarantine all cities and districts to isolate the suspected elements. 6. Registration: All citizens should be registered with their nearest police stations. People should be encouraged to cooperate in this regard. Any individual who refuses to co-operate should be stripped of his/her rights. 7. Launching a Nationwide Awareness Campaign: The government should launch a nationwide public awareness campaign to create awareness against the menace of extremism and consequences of affiliation with terrorist organisations. 8. Shut Down all Illegal Madrassas and Affiliates: All Madrassas should be registered with the Wafaqul Madaaris. No Madrassa should be allowed to function or operate outside the defined code of conduct as set by the government. Financial audit of all madaaris should be conducted annually. 9. Code of Conduct: The government should revise the existing code of conduct for all mosques and their Imams. Any person violating this code of conduct should be strictly prosecuted and penalized. 10. Security Assurance: The judges presiding over anti-terrorists courts should be provided maximum security. 11. Prosecution: Any citizen knowingly facilitating a member(s) of any extremist or terrorist wing, in any manner or form or should be made liable to criminal prosecution. Any individual supporting any extremist/militant body, in any form, should be made answerable to law. 12. Exposure and Blockage of Foreign Sources and Funding: Any foreign hand behind the terrorist activities in Pakistan should be exposed and the evidence should be made public. 13. Police Reforms: A detailed study and review of police reforms should be conducted and implemented to make them duty bound and they shall be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. 14. Arrest Terrorist Sympathisers: All supporters and sympathisers of Daish (IS), Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) or any other militant organisations/groups should be immediately arrested and prosecuted as per laws. 15. Stop Glorifying Militants: The media must stop glorifying the militants. Their statements or interviews should be immediately banned and blocked from the mainstream media. The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) shall be held responsible in this regard.
