Matt: Greeeeeaaaaaattttttt!!! I love you man! So you mean temptation brings out our true self? Ken: I love u too, sir. It can reveal our true self...whether we have strength of character or not. Matt: Correct. But I stumbled upon its veracity when i thought about Adam. Did the test actually reveal Adams character? Ken: In Adams case, there was no character to reveal. What Adam had was innocence. The test was a choice for him to retain his innocence or lose it and have to always have to choose to make his character based upon his knowledge of good and evil. Character is only possible with the knowledge of good and evil...and that came after the Fall, not before; so prior to that, Adam had innocence, not character. Matt: Ok. I believe you. But you have to be patient with me, while I chew and ponder upon it, as it has not yet soaked. Ken: Hahahhahahhahahahhahahahahhaha... Matt: I like swallowing truth, so that when I cough nothing but truth is exposed. Ken: Hahahahhahahhahahahhahahahahhahhahahha.... Of course. Then let me explain further. Matt: Ok...that will be beautiful. Ken: The knowledge of good and evil came to Adam through the consumption of the forbidden fruit. Prior to that, it was impossible for Adam to do evil...because there was no evil to be done. He cannot therefore be said to have had character. For character, by definition, is the result of the choice between good and evil. Matt: Ok; at Eden he didnt make a choice to be good or evil, he made a choice in between good and evil. Am I correct? Dont tell me you are yourself confused oh. Lol. Because my own head is already turning. Lol. Ken: Not really... His choice wasnt between good and evil...for evil did not then exist. Evil came to be only after he made his choice. So the correct conclusion would be that he made the choice to bring about the existence of evil. Matt: hmmmmmmmmm. Write on this. I fully understand now. Better put, he made the choice to bring about the existence of evil and good upon his knowledge and self. Because it existed but he knew them not as evil or good. All he did prior to the fall was perfect not good or bad. Am I right or wrong? I must learn oh. Ken: You took it right out of my mind. If he had not made the choice to obey satan in rebellion to God, Mr Lucifer would have been locked up in eternal darkness for ever. And humanity would have continued its existence in innocence. Matt: Yes, he facilitated satans existence. Ken: Indeed, he did. Matt: So Adam brought sin alive. Ken: Exactly, and along with sin, the master of it...satan. Matt: Sin needed to survive, he was almost dead, then Adam carried him and said dont kill him. Thats why God could not destroy sin again because he lives in man. Destroying sin would have been the destruction of man. Ken: Indeed, and that is how He saved man...by destroying him in His Son. Matt: Thanks, Boss. -Aondozungwe KK, the one whom Christ loves.
