Matt Willis is caught in a tug-of-love between McBusted and soap bosses as he revives his career. The band had a sell-out run at London’s O2 Arena. But we hear the BBC’s EastEnders is also desperate to sign him up. Guitarist and former I’m a Celebrity winner Matt, 30, had a two-week stint in the show in February. He played Luke Riley, boyfriend of Stacey Branning – actress Lacey Turner, 26 And the dad-of-two’s brief appearance, which helped pull in an impressive 7.4 million viewers, seems to have made a big impression on TV chiefs. EastEnders’ executive producer Dominic Treadwill-Collins is keen to get him in the cast full time.
