Matt and I had a wonderful time this weekend at the We Care Weekend at Cohutta Springs Conference Center sponsored by Memorial Hospitals Cancer Center. We met some truly amazing and kind people. I know I will forget the names but I wont ever forget the people. It was a weekend to learn how to deal and cope and make new friends. It showed me that no matter how bad you think things are that they could be worse. So many people graciously accepting their fate and showing others that they too can go on. Now Im going to name drop...I got to meet Marcia Kling and her husband David (and yes she is as sweet in person as she is on tv). She is truly a kind soul. Also Sandra Twigg(?) and her husband who showed us great kindness and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even though I think we got their friends moved to a room farther from theirs so I could have a room where I didnt have to walk so far or have so many steps to climb. Too many names to mention but it was AMAZING !!!!! Each day of this journey reveals another step in my testimony. God is awesome!!!!
