Matt and myself attended a meeting with our local Federal MP for Cowper, Luke Hartsuyker MP and Federal Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce Member for New England....It was very informative....Barnaby spoke on what the Federal government has done and will be doing to help our farmers and our country....Since the government was elected there has been more exports of beef, wheat, milk, blueberries, etc.... Barnaby spoke on the increased prices that the farmers are now receiving, which they certainly deserve....Barnaby also spoke about dams, rail and transport which will help our farmers.....Also how the carbon tax was hurting the farmers and all Australians.....Barnaby also spent time answering questions from people, who attended.... He answered them with confidence and assured everyone that he and the government are working hard for a better future for the country and all Australians......
