Matthew 13:4 And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. I have doing some reading by Charles Spurgeon, this man of old, I love how he expands on things from the word. So some of my words may be his words. First I am sadden by the thought that someone sitting next to you in church, a Christian concert, a revival, has the kind of heart to hard for seed to grow. So many things travel into our hearts and either hardens them to the things of God or softens our hearts to take in every seed sent our way. And it is even disheartening to think that the devil and his legion of demons send fowl to eat up the word, the seed that was scatter on this harden ground. I know it is up to God to prepare a heart to hear, however we have some doings to how our hearts are, we have Gods DNA, the knowing of right and wrong living inside each of us. Sin left unchecked hardens a heart, anger and fear left to fester grows the heart cold. Unforgiveness can tie a tight knot around our hearts and chock Gods life with in us. This heart came, why, to say with a pat on the back I was in church. To get his or her brownie points at the end of the day. So many miss the relationship because of religion, so many miss the friendship because of the rules. ( or lack of them) . God says to protect your heart, what goes in can destroy the soil to the place where seed can not grow. I have seen this happen to many a heart. I have watched a soft heart turn to hard over time. But I have also seen a hard heart over time turn soft and hungery for seed. Never give up, never stop planting, never stop praying, God wants no one to end up in hell. Do not get weary with well doing. And along the way trust the God who has your heart. Listen and obey. God has your best in his mind. No is no and God knows whats best so walk in all Gods best for you today. Seed that falls on the wayside, it is sad, but remember God loves all. So leave the harden heart to God and keep scattering his eternal seed everywhere. I want to say thank you from the one who loves you most, God, keep up the good work for the kingdom of God is at hand. Love to you all and praying blessing fall on you in abundance.
