Matthew 16:11 KJV How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? Brothers and Sisters, good morning. Has a friend youve been speaking with, meeting with, hanging out with missed a point by a long shot, or put two points together that dont belong in a bizarre or just plain incorrect way? This is how the disciples have taken this particular teaching of Jesus. He says one thing, but because of their limited world view, they take it another. I want to get away a little bit from clowning on the disciples too much because we all have been in this position. A pastor, teacher, brother or friend has had something of divine origin to speak into our lives and we missed it, completely as if they were speaking and we could not hear. This is where we question ourselves to make sure individually weve not fallen asleep on autopilot and are heading in a direction that God has not intended for us. Yes, ask yourself, am I understanding this correctly? Have I taken a hold of this thought for proper understanding or is the hand so tight around the machete chopping a path through the vine of this jungle just to simply get to a destination? Self evaluation is key in getting out of the destination mind, cuzz quite frankly kids, were already there. The heaven, the living, the seeing, the love, the sacrifice, the awesomness of Jesus gift to us is here, now, in the moment of action one second after another. Lets not be sluggards, or blind lightning bolts, lets be God fearing humans in a world he gave to us, lets pay attention and live. Pray and MEDITATE on Gods word. All praise and glory to our LORD Jesus Christ.
