Matthew 16:18: “… I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Now what exactly does that mean folks? When is Jesus going to build His Church? And what Church is He going to build? Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Jehovah Witnesses?.....which one? Of that’s right, these are only denominations that man has started, my bad. So where and when is Jesus going to build His Church and what exactly is a church?..... Oh yes, that’s right. Thank you for the answer Shorty. (Shorty’s my imaginary friend in case you didn’t know.) The Church is the Body of Christ and Jesus is the Head of the Church and yes it will be down here on earth where Jesus will rule and reign since God rules and reins in heaven.
