Matthew 17: 24 - 28. In this scripture God provides guidance to us about world possessions as it relates to our lives. If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited if he shall if he should gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchanged for this soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, there to some standing here, which shall not taste the death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. May God add his blessing upon the reading of his word. Many things can be understood from these scripture. For me it simply speaks what we do with our lives. If we are rich, there are things that must accompany this to maintain Gods grace. Does it mean that we share our wealth to assist others in need? We know that it doesnt mean that we turn our nose up and look down on those less fortunate than us. God will guide your judgment if you fit in this category, follow him and the path will be clear. If you are not rich and work from paycheck, to paycheck what is our obligation? By following God, is it providing our time for those that are less fortunate. Soup kitchens, buy a turkey and all the fixings, bag it and give it to someone that could use a good meal. Could it be showing our appreciation to one of our Soldiers by paying for their meal in a local restaurant? They do so much for us to maintain our freedom that we so often forget about this privileges we have. Its Christmas, any one of the things above would be part of following Jesuss path for our lives. Go for it. Yesterday for was amazing. Drove to Evans, Sports Academy, Massage salon for a deep body massage and back home. Driving on my own was nice. My daughter, Hope paid for my massage and Christina done a wonderful job. Thank you Hope, I love you. I have been so blessed with my treatments and by all those that have shown support over this time. Your prayers have continued daily so God never had a chance to misplace my name. I was put in front of him daily by you. Thanks be unto God. Someone ask me if Id continue to post since I was now clear of Cancer. My answer is absolutely.
