Matthew 24: 27,30; "For as the lighting comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of man be. (30) Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." NKJV. Over the years there have been many predictions about the second coming of the Lord, but none of them have been true for the Lord has said; Matthew 24: 36; "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only." NKJV. Bur when the Lord comes it will be as a thief in the night, and their will be great weeping and gnashing of teeth, for when this comes to pass all those who have ignored the Word of God, and chose the pathways of the world will know that it is to late to turn to the Lord for His strength and renewal of their lives. For the Day of Salvation will have come and gone. But as His children it has been given to us to be witnesses of Him so that all the peoples of the world will some day hear the Word of God, and know that their is salvation for them when they hear and obey the calling of the Father, telling them to come to the Son, for the blood that He shed on the Cross is the blood that can cleanse all who responds to the gospel, repenting and asking for forgiveness, because as it says in John 3: 17; "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." NKJV. So as we see the day approaching, let us not try and predict it, but let us be ready, and continue to tell others, that if they surrender themselves to the Lord Jesus Christ that it tells us in 1 John 1: 9; "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." NKJV. So let us go out each day faithfully telling others that the salvation plan of God is still open to all who will answer the call. Amen.
