Matthew 5:16,Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. To live honestly for the Lord means that we are to serve Him with all that we are and all that we have. Other people should be able to see Gods light and truth in us. When others are able to see that, they can see that we love the Lord and will serve Him honestly to the best of our ability through the strength that God gives us. It is through us living for Him and having a relationship with Him; a relationship that is built on prayer and reading His word that we are able to gain treasures in Heaven.
