Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Jesus speaking very clearly, teaches us that if we truly want God in our life, then He will fill us. This righteousness deals with the character trait of God known as holiness. When God is our goal in life, we will find Him. He wants to fill our lives more than we want to be filled. The question is, how bad do we want God in our life? As a preacher, the Power of God in my life is my ultimate goal. I find that if I have God working in my life, then things just seem to fall into place, no matter how hard times may get. I don’t understand how a person can go through life with a hunger and thirst for the world, missing the blessing and power of God in their life. This is a promise of God. If we are to be filled by God, then we must crave God in our life. When we meet our end of the deal, so does God.
