Matthew 7:6 NIV [6] "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces. With the recent turn of events regarding the pork barrel scam, all of sudden this verse has taken on a new meaning for me. I just realized that for the longest time we Filipinos have been throwing away our pearls to pigs. We have given that which is sacred to dogs. We have given away our sacred votes to dogs in the congress and in the senate that have raped and ravished our beloved nation. We having been throwing away our pearls to pigs like the Napoleses and the like. The "Pearl of the Orient" has been given to dogs to rule and thrown to pigs to be trampled on. The thing is, pigs will always be pigs. These are people who who will never understand the value of what has been entrusted them. They will only trample on our pearls, they will defile their public office , which requires the highest standard of integrity, transparency and righteousness. Why? Because they are pigs. My prayer, my plea to every freedom loving Filipinos, let us stop throwing our pearls to pigs. NO TO PORK BARREL! Tama na ang pambababoy!
