Matthew Johnson This is sorta what I was talking about before... The sentiment does seem to be that the CEO is somehow robbing the common worker of their pay. If thats truly the case, it is clearly a misnomer. Even if the CEOs pay was an issue, it would only equate to pennies or a couple dollars (in a smaller company) per employee - certainly not nearly the proportions illustrated in this comic. The Tea Partier has no business being in this comic at all - it seems like they are brought in as a generic opponent of anything the Being Liberal page stands for. Its no wonder the liberals have such distorted view of who the Tea Partiers are and what they stand for. Modern unions are hit and miss, but in many cases they are absolute monsters. They disrupt the incentive structures within perfectly functional companies and allow productivity to slack why pushing labor costs up. Often the union will act like a parasite that eventually kills its host. Its certainly not as one-sides as the comic suggests. In all, my only point is that the hardcore left can be every bit as unreasonable and deceptive as the hardcore right.
