Matthew Santoro is proof that anyone with dedication and a plan can succeed at YouTube. Not to say he isnt talented, hes very charismatic and has a great on screen presence. But his whole channel is stuff that anyone can research and upload, he didnt need any particular skill, insight, or knowledge base to do what he does. He did need consistency and dedication however, and I think thats what I lot of people lack (including myself).. He started off as a run of the mill vlogger but soon found his niche in sharing amazing facts in list format, which despite being a pretty common format, is something not done much on YouTube (not done well at least), and hes become HUGE, due Im sure in part to friends and shoutouts and features, but mostly due to his dedication and consistency. I try to keep an eye on people like this as they motivate me to keep doing what Im doing.
