Maureen Yancy 26 minutes ago . I thought I would chime in to the current situation that is at hand. If you think for a moment that you can stand for justice in any situation and not have those fall by the wayside- as Dilla would say:Think Twice! Everyone is not strong enough to fight for whats right. The reason there are Soldiers and the reason there are Knights! A soldier is to stand firm and show a united front and a defense against attacks. A knight is the strongheart . Always ready to stand up front and ready for battle to protect whats at risk. You have regular soldiers and Valiant soldiers. Valiant soldiers dont wait for the popular moment to show theyre really a part of the force. Some dont have the stomach for battle. I have always been passive and have turned the cheek continuously. This has run its course! I will no longer be used like that. I am tired of being slandered and accepting of the most unkind acts of others against me. Always a rebel at heart but I must stand for what I believe in and it matters not that some want a quick end to the topic of the day and the wish that I would forgive and forget all acts against this legacy. I will stand strong with those that realize what it means to honor & protect. Its very different when the one that is being protected is no longer with us. Thats the way it is! I have not made statements every time these situations arise. I took the wait and let the madness end approach. That approach never stopped the madness. It only showed weakness . This time the Valiant soldiers said ENOUGH! The difference is they began to see the disrespect that only got bigger every time the opposition felt like destroying something. Im handling my business and structuring a united front that is necessary ! Dilla has earned the right, he worked hard and people took advantage of him often. Some think its ok to continue that pattern. Madukes will be wearing full gear for battle when needed. Those that are not on the forefront , hold up the sideline. The Yancey legacy will be protected from its enemies . The Valiant soldiers from the Rebirth of Detroit project will know whats at risk as they weathered the storm. To those, SALUTE!!
