Maureens Uncle Andrew was stationed in South Korea when she was - TopicsExpress

Maureens Uncle Andrew was stationed in South Korea when she was hospitalized and died. Incredibly, he was already scheduled to be on leave when we held the funeral. Months later, when he returned to the United States, he shared a key and a story with us. In August, he traveled to N Seoul Tower, also known as Namsan Tower. It is the highest point in Seoul, South Korea. There, among what looks like thousands of locks, he placed one for Maureen. It is linked with another for her Auntie Lisa and cousin Temprance. My brother also wore his camo-colored rubber band bracelet that Maureen had made for him while he was away. One more #momotravels adventure for her. We gave us the key with the offer that at any time we want, we could go and get the lock. I have no idea how wed find it, but I am sure our hearts would lead us there. For now, that Momo lock with enjoy its view. I am sure that each of those many locks carry their own story. So many will see hers and never know the story behind it; we can only hope that someone will spot it and smile.
