Maximum Punishment for Jeffrey Wood! On Wednesday evening, December 3rd, 39-year-old Jeffrey Wood attacked his dog Lillie, a two-year-old German shepherd mix. The canine was wounded and left in Woods front yard for, a considerable amount of time, probably 10 to 12 hours or so, according to Jim Bouderau, executive director of the Tompkins County SPCA. Wood was booked, and Lillie was rushed to Cornell Animal Hospital and is currently being cared for by the Tompkins County SPCA. Lillie has been left blinded as a result of the attack and fragments of metal and bone remain in her brain. She is recovering and now able to walk and eat properly. We hereby ask the officials of Newfield, NY, to charge Wood with and prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law, providing some level of justice for Lillie.
