May 11: Mothers Day The Runaway Bunny Today is All Church Sunday. Many Mothers Days ago, at the First Unitarian Church of San Diego and then later at the First Parish of Watertown, Unitarian, Vicki and I shared readings from and commentary upon Margaret Wise Browns wonderful book The Runaway Bunny; wed like to now complete the Trinity with the congregation of the Foothills Unitarian Church. While perhaps best known for Goodnight, Moon, Margaret Wise Brown wrote The Runaway Bunny first, and its never been out of print since it was published in 1942. The references to the book in popular culture are numerous and in our view the book is both very touching and very...wise! What the story reveals about motherhood, through simple words and delightful illustrations, is well worth sharing and well delight in doing so today in your company. (Vicki Siska and Rev.
