May 1925; Prominent Indian Muslim leaders Hakim Ajmal Khan, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed Ansari and Abdul Rehman are travelling in Europe. At their stay in Paris Mr. Iqbal Shedai was their host and organizing various meetings with Indian Freedom leaders active in Europe. After these meeting Mr.Shedai returned to Milan, Italy, where he was staying permanently. Hakim Ajmal Khan and Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed Ansari reached in Lausanne, Switzerland after trip in various parts of Europe . Mr. Shedai received a letter from MN Roy in Milan “ Zürich 22.6.1925 Dear friend, Will you come to Lausanne? Where respected guests from our country are staying. Pl tell me your address when reach there. My address is S K Roy p o box 4336 Zurich. As I receive any information MN Roy, M. Ali will discuss about that meeting. Hope will come early so a conference will be held with respected guests. I may not able to stay in this country for long With best wishes, accept my regards Roy” Mr shedai reached Zürich, and a had meeting with MN Roy. Mr shedai and M. Ali travelled to Lausanne next day and had discussion with Muslim leaders all are good friend of Mr. Shedai. Hakim Ajmal Khan agree to have a meeting with MN Roy but Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed Ansari refused to see him and also Abdul Rehman . They had long discussion for 4 hours, But without any results. M. Ali went to Zürich to tell MN Roy about the result. Mr. Shadi stayed with Indian guests for few more days and retuned to Milan With MN Roy this was the last meeting of Mr. Shedai;; never met again…. in 1929 MN Roy left Europe and return to India. Hakim Ajmal Khan He led the Khilafat Movement, and became the fifth Muslim President of the Indian National Congress during the 1921 session held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Khan was one of the founders of the Jamia Millia Islamia University, becoming its first chancellor in 1920 and remaining in office until his death in 1927. Khan was also the sole person elected to the Presidency of the Indian National Congress, the Muslim League and the All India Khilafat Committee. Khan was elected first chancellor of the Jamia Milia Islamia University on 22 November 1920, holding the position until his death in 1927… Hakim Ajmal Khan also travelled to Europe twice….. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed Ansari was an Indian nationalist and political leader, and former president of the Indian National Congress and the Muslim League during the Indian Independence Movement. One of the founders of the Jamia Millia Islamia University he remained its Chancellor 1928 to 1936. Ansari obtained medical degree from the Madras Medical College and went to England. He achieved the M.D. and M.S. He was an outspoken supporter of the Khilafat movement, and led the Indian medical mission to treat the wounded Turkish soldiers during the Balkan Wars… MN Roy, Indian revolutionary was an important member of the Executive Committee of the Communist International and adviser to the Russian government on Indian and Colonial World and due to his efforts Communist Party of India was founded in1920...
