May 21, 2014. I did a SKYPE Interview Wednesday with the University of Maryland University College in Asia, for a circuit-riding teaching position in Korea-Japan-Okinawa. I had previously been offered single classes in Japan and in Korea and, until the budget sequester, was being considered for a full time position. Now we shall see.... I am also approved to teach again for the Navy through the NCPACE Program, which took me in 2009 to 6 months on the USS BLUE RIDGE, based out of Yokosuka, Japan, but traveling all over the Pacific--Japan, Korea, Guam, New Caledonia, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Okinawa..... Presently they are doing another Security Background Check as the next step in that process. Que sera....
