May 31st 2013 was a special day for me. After some discussion with my dear friend Tim Little, iRockAndBoogie radio was conceived. We registered the domain, irockandboogie, on that date. It was through the help of a number of people that we were able to first broadcast on August 14, 2013. We set out with a purpose to augment the existing media in our area and have been able to help get the message out on many worthy causes, events, and accomplishments, and weather related alerts in the Lake Wedowee and Mt. Cheaha foothills area. We look forward to serving you even better in days to come. To date we have operated purely on the talented efforts of volunteers like Caleb Stone Kinsey, Justin SaxyBeast Romine, Lee Moore Sr., Andrew Vollenweider, Koty Ray,Chris May, Terry Allen, Wesley Wortham, Charles Ogles , Adam Slay, Tim Altork and SaNBoC! In addition, our Shoutcast provider, Bill Levey of Cahaba Internet has been a helpful source of information and encouragement!!! A heartfelt Thank You to you all!
