May 5 - 9 is Teacher Appreciation Week. Pima is blessed with so many wonderful teachers and this week is a great opportunity to recognize them and the important job that they do. Each year the Safford Rotary Club identifies one teacher from each school in The Valley and recognizes them as a Phyllis Anne Bryce Teacher of Distinction. This years award recipients were Ms. Courtney Bond at the Elementary School, Mrs. Patti Kempton at the the Junior High, and Mr. Jace Hancock at the High School. It was a great pleasure to be able to recognize all that these great teachers do for our students.
