May God bless people who rebelled and defied against all odds to be where they want to be in life. These are the people I hold dear to my heart on the basis of my fundamental faith that their efforts to rise from all the hells they have been through is a bold assurance that we all shall reach the mountaintop of our desires. At some point I shed tears while reading and learning that Oprah Winfrey wore potato sacks because she had no clothes but today all is history. I shed tears after learning that Maya Angelou rose from the shackles of prostitution to become a powerful force on international stages. I shed tears while reading that Abraham Lincoln grew up in a one-roomed log cabin and ultimately led the most powerful nation on earth. I shed tears when Barack Obama became the president of United States. I knew he was paving the way for me and many others who see him as their personal hero. When Maya Angelou occupied the table of eternity on the 28th of May, I knew the goal was not to live forever but to plant the seeds of greatness in the garden of immortality. I am so unique in that I find it impossible to celebrate and admire a person without knowing the hells they have been through.
