May I ask - is this Guess the Breed or Guess the Species? No offense to the insect, spider, and reptile lovers but I didnt join this group for the giant tarantulas or mantis. I happen to love snakes and it doesnt bother me to see these beautiful creatures on here, but Im willing to bet that there are other folks who dont like reptiles and also dont enjoy seeing 6 coiled up pythons, no matter how lovely a cream and lemon they are. So admins, can you pretty clearly make a ruling whether this will continue to be a post whatever living organism you want or whether we can limit it to guessing organisms that are considered to have breeds? Snakes for instance are species (with morphs, not breeds as far as I know which isnt very far TBH). Spiders, species. Dogs? One species, a ton of breeds. Same with cats, goats, cows, horses, etc. I expect to get a lot of flack for this, and if the admins rule that any organism can be posted regardless of whether it has different breeds to it or just different species, I will cheerfully remove myself. Ill miss all the amazing mammalian breeds, but I simply cant handle any more giant 4+ legged creatures in my news feed. Alternatively, if folks do know of active guess the breed groups that are limited to mammals, let me know. Perhaps that is a better fit for me rather than stepping on peoples fun here :-)
