May I be allowed to give my views about Moi Hospital. Last year I almost lost my mother in this hospital for pure negligence. I was shocked to find no Doctor attending to her just some cruel nurses shouting at every patient in that ward. I begged them to get me the doctor on duty to get my mother released. Finally an in-turn was instructed by the Doctor to release me. Never saw this Doc but was told she cudnt come coz she had a visitors at her home. All in all I thank God I was able to drive my mother to Nairobi where she was admitted and received immediate attention. She is diabetic and Moi hospital could not give her insulin. The in turn told me they didnt have any medicine. My heart goes out to all the people in Taita Taveta who cannot afford private hospitals in civilized counties. It is sad that our leadership has to date not been able to provide for its people. Shame on you Mrutuu and all your CEC. Try fundraising for this hospitals network with investors and get this basic facility for you people.
