May I just be honest and say: I loved being a mother, loved doing everything we as parents did, loved every second of it, but I tell you, I sit here, happy as a pig in ykw that I dont have to boil eggs, get the food coloring out, do any of that. I am also happy that Christmas trees are an option now, someone else cooks Thanksgiving dinner...I know it sounds a bit Scrooge-ish, but I dont care. I am happy as all get out, however, to experience it all vicariously through the photos of my fb friends and their children. thanks. :) Not one of those people who spends life looking back only.
