*May contain explicit material* So I agreed to fill in for a friend of mine for a 9 mile race, cuz he couldnt make it and they wouldnt refund his money. Ill give you a breakdown of the race. Startline- Saw people with ULTRAmarathon shirts with Camelbacks! I think, this is not good. So the gun is fired and were off... Mile 1-This aint bad, I could do this. Mile2-The F-bombs start dropping! (Not good, this early in the race) The incline is pretty steep. Mile 3-I want a Snowcone! Mile 4-Im hoping a bear comes out and eats me. Mile 5-Legs go numb, like the Snowman from the Frozen movie. The F-bombs turned to MF-bombs! Mile 6-The terrain turns ungodly trecherous, and Im concerned for my Walmart ankles. Mile 7-Im so exhausted, a chipmunk could take me! Mile 8-A lady passes me, I hate that lady, I hate the guy behind me, I hate everybody at this time. Mile 9-I got to a set of stairs, I think Ive died and reached Heaven. Finish Line- I finally got my race shirt! (First race Ive run where you have to earn it) Id like to thank Harrison Woody for the humbling experience. The LaLuz Trailrun, was by far thee hardest race Ive ever faced. After Ive finished, Im on a runners high and asked for registration for next year! ID DO IT AGAIN!!! Have an awesome day HANs! :)
