May he grant you your hearts desire and fulfill all your plans! - TopicsExpress

May he grant you your hearts desire and fulfill all your plans! May we shout for joy over your salvation, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions! Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand. (Psalm 20:4-6 ESV) These mighty shouts of victory are a portion of a song written by David. They were sung by the crowds as Davids army went off to war. Can you just imagine how encouraged the marching soldiers had to be as the crowds sang these words? We may honor our troops as they deploy for battle, but do we send them off with such words of encouragement, promising them our God reigns supreme and the victory is already in His hands? Many would be offended as this would no longer be politically correct. We each have our own battles to fight everyday, though. Lets adopt this as our battle cry because the victory has already been won through the power of the Cross. My prayer for each of you is that our God Almighty will grant you the desires of your heart, however we must want His plans to be fulfilled. Our Creators ways are better than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. The Gentle Shepherd has plans to prosper us, not harm. We must be faithful to trust in the saving graces our Shield has promised during the battles we fight. The Lord saves His anointed, Christians we are His anointed! Our God saves! The Protector of the fallen may seem far away from you today, but please read these words and feel comfort in knowing He is holding your hand. Our struggles and battles are not hidden from His all-seeing eye. Dust off your banner and wave it high today! Victory is already in the Hand of the One who stills the water and He can calm the raging sea in your life. Remember, if we never faced battles or struggles in our life we would never rely on our Saving Grace as fully as we should, probably not at all. I pray that all your petitions are granted today in the name of Jesus, amen! Dear Lord, I love You! What beautiful words to wake up to this morning! Help us fully rest in the promise that the victory has already been won. We know we will face battles, that is very evident, but give us strength day by day, hour by hour, second by second, to fully trust in You as our Shield, our Protector, our Rock, our Mighty God, our Everlasting Love! We give you all honor and all glory and all praise! You are so very worthy!!!!
