May he rest in peace and May God comfort family and friends! It is sad to see them (EPLF and ELF veteran fighters) pass away without any reconciliation! Some die inside Eritrea and are buried outside the Martyrs Cemetry without any clarfication, others are thrown in foreign countries like Naizghi Kiflu. These and countless tegadelti like Ahmed Nasser sacrificed their whole life for the independence of Eritrea and the liberty of its people. It is inexplicably sad to see this happen to Eritreans. Today the other three tegadelti who died in a car accident last week in Eritrea: Brig. General Mebrahtu Tekleab (Vaynac), Brig. General Amanuel Haile (Hanjema) and Mr. Desu Tesfatsion will get a state-funeral in Asmara. I am glad that it is being done. I wish them farwell, rip and may God comfort the family and friends. But why does the government exclude others, who spent their whole life for the same objective? The state of civility and peaceful mind of a nation/people is measured by the way it treats the elderly, the children, the widowed, the refugees, the deceased, its veterans (without any discrimination except before an independent court of law) and its animals. Let us turn our face to God and ask forgiveness to Him and to each other! There is no other and better alternative to forgiveness and reconcilliation!
