May is Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month in Indiana! Join us for a RALLY ON THE CIRCLE, Thursday, May 1 ABATE of Indiana, the Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership, Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, LDI/Tucker Rocky, and the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute are proud to announce the fifth annual Motorcycle Awareness Rally on Monument Circle in Indianapolis. This event to kick off Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month, as proclaimed by Indiana Governor Mike Pence, will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 1st. A number of activities to increase awareness of motorcycles are planned which will include a large display of police and civilian motorcycles from around the state, a fashion show highlighting the protective qualities of motorcycle gear, numerous displays, exhibits, demonstrations and speakers from governmental agencies and the motorcycling community. Governor Mike Pence will be on hand to present the proclamation and sign HB1080 (traffic actuated signal) into law. All are welcome to attend as we remind Hoosiers that “Motorcycles Are Everywhere”.
