May springs into life with a visit to Port Sunlight & Cheshire - TopicsExpress

May springs into life with a visit to Port Sunlight & Cheshire Oaks. The historical village of Port Sunlight dates back to 1899 when the Lever Brothers built a village for their employees to live. Named Port Sunlight after a popular soap they produced, Port Sunlight now contains 900 Grade II listed buildings and became a conservation area in 1978. Port Sunlight Museum lies at the heart of this garden village. We visit the museum, and enjoy a guided tour of the local area. With more than 145 stores, cafés and restaurants, Cheshire Oaks is our next visit. It is the largest Designer Outlet in the UK and offers endless entertainment, ranging from child-friendly adventure play areas to upscale restaurants, and, of course, an unrivalled selection of discount designer clothing. yellowayexcursions.co.uk
