May the Good Lord order your steps: There are lots of people in this life who always want to give advice. They are full of their own opinions and often are trying to fit you into their box. They think that they can shape your life and your world. Now there is nothing wrong with good advice from people who are wise and have experience, but beware of those who are trying to manipulate you or negate your faith. When Joseph heard that Mary was pregnant it must have shocked him to the core. He had every right to break off the proposed marriage on the grounds that she had been unfaithful. But an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 1 v 20). This was a tough test of faith and if Joseph had shared this publicly he would have been widely ridiculed. There would have been many people who would have tried to influence his decision and get rid of Mary. But Joseph was a just man (Matthew 1 v 19) and kept this revelation to himself and walked in faith. Even after Jesus was born, he had to wait patiently until he finally saw the full manifestation of who Jesus really was. So dont let people try and create your world. Follow steadfastly after what God has purposed for you to do and accomplish it. Amen
