Mayank is a living reminder to every budding film-maker out there that to be a film-maker you dont have to be like Rohit Shetty (no offence, Mr Shetty; just hear me out). Hes often stated that hes not quite a poet / performer, and yet every time he comes on stage theres nothing stopping him from seducing the audience with his way with words -- whether in English or Urdu, it doesnt matter, he can enrapture your soul in so many different ways. Now combine that with his other skills, such as Photography, where every picture -- so carefully taken -- moves your soul. Wouldnt that be an amazing kind of story too look forward to? Mayank may be that one kind of a film-maker that India has been lacking till now. But enough with me rambling, youll need to see it for yourself and let him take your imaginations on a spin. :) Heres Mayank, narrating the core of an unrequited love in Urdu (which is considered to be one of the most beautiful languages that exists today).
