Maybe I should tell folks I just got ran over by a truck full of brunettes! :) One of the reasons I hate being sick and/or hurting so bad you cant hide it is that it just prompts more questioning from folks that see you if you have to tell them ! Out of one of my medicines, sick, hurting and with my newest walking shoe partially coming apart, I go to Wallyworld. Of course, on one the three or four times Id use the drive-thru a year, both lanes are closed. I park to the side and with my malfunctioning shoe start to walk in. I dont make it into the lane in front of the store before someone pulls up and blocks my path with their pickup, wanting to talk. Im sure I probably should have recognized them, but dont. We talk briefly, they seem to run out of questions but still were blocking my path with the truck, so I eventually add distance by walking around the back of the truck. I make it to right at the outer gate at gardening before someone wants to know what the temperature is. I have to explain my not feeling well again. I next made it as far as just inside the first sliding glass door by gardening, and wind up explaining myself to the checker who wanted to talk. I did eventually get to the pharmacy and had to explain myself there.
