Maybe an LDS friend would like to explain why we did when I was a kid, and still do today, teach kids to expect a fiction in relationships. Disney fairy tails are just that FAIRY TALES! Moreover, why do we actively teach to effectively not love those that are different from us. Rhetoric aside, this is what we teach, to expect a fantastical relationship that is usually not actually possible in mortality. And to hate those who are not mormon. To serve ourselves first and only others if we can get to it. Missionaries are sometimes surprised to find in the field that God loves everyone! How do you get through primary, YM, and YW, and think that God only loves Mormons!!! These are not the lessons of the scriptures. Why do we falsely perpetuate a culture, not the gospel.
