Maybe its just me, and maybe not. Has American Idol turned into American Cookie Cutter? When did having a great voice become a liability? If you dont jump up and down and dance and run around, youre boring. No way you can ever be a hit maker. I mean...Look at George Strait. He moves about 6 inches during an entire performance. No way hes worth going to see. I guess what Im getting at is this: Jessica Meuse is one of the most talented singers Ive ever heard. No, she doesnt run around like a rooster on acid, and she doesnt dance around like the girls at Susies Boom Boom Room. But, the girl can sing. And after all, they say it every year...This is a SINGING competition. Let the girl sing, and dont worry about the rest. That stuff will take care of itself. That is all.
