Maybe its my getting older, age creeping up on me, I can only hope that means a higher level of maturity, or maybe its just that I am tired. I dont know. Ive noticed that many people have what I will call a self defeating (to borrow a term) nature in their everyday lives, a nature which creates most of their problems. Youd think theyd realize this and correct their behavior, but no, they continue to think the same way, act the same way and do the same things which will inevitably cause them more problems. I am not judging them, its not my place to judge anyone and I do the same from time to time. We all do. I do wonder if they ever realize this fact, think about it, and try to change their lives around. I do not have a window into mens souls and truthfully would not want it. I can only guess looking in from the outside, and hope they will take the time everyday to question themselves and try to improve the way they approach life on their own. Only they can do that, no one else can do it for them. Forced improvement never sticks and it is the playground of tyrants. It is extremely frustrating watching someone stumble and fall, especially if you think you have the answer to helping them. Maybe you do, dont. Either way whether you are right or wrong, no amount of nagging, forcing, or guilting will work, they will do it if they want to do it. If this sounds arrogant, as if I know better for others than they know themselves, that is not what I mean. I barely know whats good for me. Sometimes though, when you have a more objective view from the outside, you see more than a person can see close up, in the soup as it were. End of rant, have a great day all
