Maybe the first time I ever cheered an Oriole loss. From the Os tying it up in the 9th with two homers to St. Jeter getting the game winning RBI. 20 years from now when the movie RE2PECT is made, its the storybook ending that will make grown men cry, like Rudy. If the game meant anything, I might feel differently but it was really an amazing moment. Derek Jeter should just tip his cap to the crowd at Fenway and not play this weekend. His career had the perfect ending tonight, in The Bronx, where it should end. I damn near cried and I HATE the Yankees. I tip my cap to The Captain. Well done, awesome theater, fantastic career. Farewell #2.
