Maybe we need to take a page from Silent Running and more the mall to space habs..at least some of the DNA and embryos (and *MULTIPLE* STORAGE SITES, BREEDING CENTERS, ON AND OFF THE PLANET!) (Just dont decided that if you want to end the project, instead of just ejecting the self-sustaining lifepods or biodomes...but that - for some strange reason - like inSilent Running, that you also have to*NUKE THEM*...just to be sure...sure of WHAT!? Sure that no nasty highly evolved trees ever make it back to Earth and seek revenge!? And why where those trees out near *Saturn* ANYWAY!? Not much *Sunlight* that far out...the light bill alone was probably the cost over-run that eventually doomed the whole project!!! Still,if the life pods could survive on their own...wy *nuke* them!?
