Maybe you did not lose your father, mother, son, brother, daughter, grandfather etc to police brutality during 80s and 90s in Punjab, but many mothers, sisters, wives still await for their loved ones who just disappeared off the face of Earth. Some villages saw no weddings for years as everyone aged 18-35 was killed by the security agencies in fake encounters. Possible that you never heard of such real stories because your parents and families are either too scared to talk about it or just want to move past this, but the community that forgets its history, leads itself to its own demise. https://facebook/events/197107547153579/
