Maylin had liver labs yesterday which everything came back looking great! Praise the lord! Her oncologist called and said that they and the liver team are ok with having her port taken out. They will be calling us this week to schedule her procedure. They said that usually the kids can go home after the surgery that day if everything goes well. May has been working really hard in pt. She is able to army crawl now and is working on normal crawling. She can get started herself but her legs go out to the side when she tries to move. Her physical therapist gave her special pants to help keep her legs in when she practices. She has also been doing great in food therapy. She is doing awesome with her eating and now she is working on chewing more textured foods. She has a ton of teeth but likes to hold the food in her mouth and let it dissolve instead of chewing it up. She is doing not so well with her hearing aids! They are a constant battle. Shes always wanting to take them out and play with them. They dont seem to bother her when they are in because she doesnt cry. She just likes taking them out. May is doing better and keeping them in for longer but I feel like a broken record telling her no and pulling her hand down. She has been told no so much with her hearing aids that when I tell her no about something else she pulls on her ears and of course she smiles. She can be a little stinker! So we will continue to work on that. Please keep us in your prayers as we are preparing to move at the end of the month. We will be packing and having all of Mays appointments and therapies on top of that is a little stressful. We are looking forward to being closer to Jakes job for more family time though. May is growing and getting stronger everyday. She has a ton of teeth (12) and our little blondie has a bunch of hair coming in too!
