Mayor Jake Crafton is trying to force the KHD to euthanize animals after 7 days. Take a look at the DDDnews website and watch and listen to the council meeting (2 of 3 video) at 17:20 into it. Voice your opinion. No money from the citys budget goes to feed or give aid to the animals, it is all through donations. It has been known that Crafton has never been a friend to the shelter and has always tried to enforce euthanization, even though Tena has managed to save hundreds of dogs through rescues, spending her own money to transport. Watch and listen to the video, then Kennett residents and beyond, storm city hall and tie up the phones 573-888-9001....save the animals. Why dont they pass an ordinance that all dogs must be spayed or neutered, that will help with population control. (give it a few seconds it comes right after the vote)
