His farm is besides to the farm of Hernani Hernandez. The chickens of Mayor Juancho are very healthy because they are raising in a high area. The weather condition here is really great. It is very suited for chicken breeding. In terms of leadership, he served three terms as a mayor of La Carlota in Negros Occidental. He was loved by his constituents because of his good governance. Maybe this is one of the reasons why he is still called as a mayor by others. Many people are testifying that Mayor Juancho is a true gentleman and very humble person. According to them, he is very accommodating that’s why many breeders consulting him before they make a big decision to their farms. He extended his leadership, not only in politics, but also in cockfighting. He became a president of Negros Gamefowl Breeder for more than a decade. When he handled this association he made a lot of changes. He also became an officer of National Federation of Gamefowl Breeders Association for Visayas Region.
