Mayor did I hear correctly? Your next tactic is to have the radio djs repeat over and over again for people to put their guns down in hopes that it will stick. AND to try to get musicians and actors involved in doing the same thing???? Huh... gtfoh. People that are killing are in survival mode... in their mind this is part of their survival, whether it is for money, peer pressure, insecurities just trying to fit in...whatever the case they are only listening to that voice in their own head. Offer more resources to these communites, hire some civilians to do the police reports for the officers so that they can get back on the streets, community meetings, talk to the community, see what they think. People are afraid...
