Mazin Abdul-Adhim: If you look closely at the events in recent - TopicsExpress

Mazin Abdul-Adhim: If you look closely at the events in recent times, you will notice that it seems Allah (swt) is making every trusted public figure in this Ummah choose where they stand with regards to secularism and the political future of Islam, and He (swt) seems to be giving every Islamic movement a chance to prove their capability or incapability to follow through in their claims of bringing about true Islamic political change. One by one, everyone is being tested. I remember, around 13 years ago, trying to convince people that Lebanons Hizbollah were a tool in the hand of the US and that they were traitors, and people (yes Sunnis) rejected the idea saying that at least they were trying to do good and build schools and hospitals. But the events in Syria exposed them for the enemies of Islam that they are. And I remember trying to convince people (Muslim and non-Muslim) that the Iranian government is a US puppet regime and that they were loyal to the US, but people rejected the idea and said that Iran hates the US. Again, the events in Syria exposed them for the obedient dogs that they are. George Galloway pretended to be a champion of Muslim issues, and the events in Syria exposed his hypocrisy. The Saudi tribe pretended to represent Islamic rule on earth for almost a century now, and both the events in Syria and their support for the crimes of Al-Sisi exposed their true colors and treachery. The Salafi Al-Nour party in Egypt pretended to be champions of Islam, and the tyranny of Al-Sisi exposed their true face when they pathetically supported whoever signed their paycheck. Our good and sincere brothers in Al-Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen have long been dominating the dawa with their integrationist and pragmatic approach to societal change and implementation of Islam, and Allah (swt) demonstrated the weakness and error in their approach with their recent attempt in Egypt (but may Allah reward then for their sincere intentions). And many famous public speakers in the east and in the west have made public talks and videos mocking the idea of Islamic rule, claiming that Islam has always been secular or that Islamic rule is not important, teaching people to just selfishly focus on ones self, almost entirely ignoring the problems Muslims face around the world. Some of these speakers retracted their words after seeing a backlash from the Ummah for their ignorant statements (which is an excellent sign that the Ummah is returning to their Deen and not accepting a false understanding of Islam simply because someone famous said it), and the Ummah will not forget what they said. All these groups and popular individuals, and many others I have not mentioned or whom we may not know of, have been tested and have made their choice where to stand with regards to Islamic political change. And now it seems that our sincere - yet emotional and reactionary - brothers from among the Salafis and Jihadis are being given their chance to prove that their method is the correct one to bring about change. We are sincere advisors to them - as we were sincere advisors to the Muslim Brotherhood before them - that this is not how change is brought about. Rushing to announcing the Khilafah before having the conditions and resources needed for it will lead to failure and to harming the image people have of the Khilafah. But I know that they will not listen, just as our brothers before them did not listen. So, we will wait and time will prove whether their approach leads to success or failure. If their end is similar to those before them, that leaves only one or two groups in the Ummah who have not yet been given their chance. I wonder if people will then realize that there has always been only one solution, and that solution has always been the method of Rasool Allah (saw) to establish the Islamic State as was revealed to us during the Makkan period. You can read more about this method, and other methods, in this exceptional book called “Da’wa To Islam” that details all the movements’ opinions related to change, including everyones evidences, and why each one is right or wrong: (khilafah/images/images/DawahToIslm.pdf). May Allah (swt) give us the patience to see this through until the Nasr of Allah (swt) finally arrives.
