Mbuya Manyika The girl Sophia Mazhude was born in Musonza village of Chiweshe in April 1943. Daughter to a farmer and grew up raising livestock and farming which later became her livelihood trade. She later trained as a Professional Chef and worked for the then Lever brothers in that capacity. She married her one and only husband Enos Manyika who was then a bank employee in 1957. They became lay workers in the church and later becoming deacons before God called into full time ministry. Mbuya Manyika is a self styled entrepreneur who has turned her farming skills and livestock raring into viable sources of income. She has been able to help her spiritual children turnaround their lives by teaching them to be self sufficient women who work hard with their own hands to sustain their families. She also has gifts of prophecy and is a seasoned intercessor. Mbuya Manyika is a proud mother of 11 children, 7 boys 4 girls and 29 grandchildren. Long live Ambuya Manyika.....we love you!
