McAuliffe urges local groups to apply for City Council Community Grants before Nov 28th deadline Dublin City Council Community & Social Development Grants Scheme is now open and the Councils Community staff have distributed grant application forms which must be completed and returned by Friday 28th November 2014. Fianna Fail Group Leader, Cllr McAuliffe said “in many cases these are small allocations of a couple of hundred euro but they are a big boost for many residents associations and community groups who don’t get government funding. The grants are designed to enable and encourage local people to carry out small improvements in their neighbourhood or to hold a community festival or event.
