McGarity Families, there are a few families at McGarity that desperately need our prayers. Please keep the Landrum, Dandridge, and Vaughn/Crawford Families in your prayers. One of our teachers, Alyssa Laiken Landrum has spent her summer at Scottish Rite with her beautiful son, Hunter, who is battling brain cancer. Hunter began radiation and chemo treatments last week. He has a very long road ahead of him. Another teacher, Mary Louise Mary Louise Moon Dandridge is at Scottish RIte at Egleston with her beautiful grandbaby, August, August was born with Aicardi Syndrome, a genetic disorder characterized by partial or complete absence of the corpus callosum part of the brain which allows left side to communicate with the right side. The condition causes seizure. There is no cure for this and no real form of treatment. And, Glenette, your PTA Treasurer was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Glenette is the sister of Gloria Vaughn, your PTA Co-President. Please keep these families in your prayers.
